Next time when you are planning for a location to visit during a vacation, do consider local destinations first. There's really a reason why Malaysia is attracting so many tourists every year :)
I guess I'm not very bad when come to planning vacation locally. I have gone to all those places you mentioned. I will recommend places like Redang, Pangkor Island, Langkawi, Taiping and Penang too. Malaysia truly has a lot of good places. Sadly some are not cheap anymore.
